The 2013 album - part autobiography, part narrative - switching between experience and (un)reliable narrators to see how the other side of a given story might play out. Exploring emerging cults of nostalgia, the way nostalgia can control and limit the present and the associated damage to empathy and understanding. The noise of day to day distraction used to stop careful consideration of any topic. The strange attraction of looking backwards and missing the familiarity of the various mental prisons and limitations we grow up with.
Even in 2013 we were watching as the guns were being carefully aimed at art and culture.
